Ok, so I'm just going to be completely honest with myself here and say that I am freaking out a little bit when it comes to thinking of the birthing process. I mean, seriously, a watermelon sized baby is supposed to come out of where?!? The pain, the ripping, the contractions, the pushing, the screaming. Tell me what am I supposed to look forward to here?
So ladies out there, that have gone through this, please help me out and tell me that it is worth it, because although I know there is no turning back now, at least I can have some peace of mind that everything will be okay and that I will recover from the terrifying and painful experience called LABOR! ....scared...so scared...

one word....EPIDURAL....then you will be just fine!!
I agree with the previous comment. Seriously, the epidural is like candy. It is amazing! Nothing to worry about. :) We are excited for you guys!!!
Don't be a baby- you can do it- just the way thousdands of other women have- if you don't who will be my inspiration? Plus who the H has ever had a baby the size and shape of a watermelon? babys are flexible- belive it or not- they are designed to fit through that hole.
Epidurals are our friends...AND if you're feeling the need to go au-natural...do it. Your body will make it work, and then you have a back-up plan with my best friend EP I. Dural. Seriously. You're tougher than you think. Braver than you know. And you are Ru-freakin' By. Okay? So with that being said, you will give birth in a few short months to a darling, delightful little Link, and be so proud of what your body was designed to do.
PLUS, if you're still freakin' out, just call me. I like to laugh at the oddity we call child birth. It is strange, and wonderful, and grosstastic..all at the same time. Love you girl!
It is VERY worth all the pain and stretching our children put our bodies through, especially when that little one is placed in your arms for the first time, makes you forget what you just went through to get him (although you are reminded of that via pain and cramping for a few days post.) Au natural is wonderful, went that way with Eli and twins and when we decide to have another will do it that way. My reasoning is that I like to move, walk and labor ball it during the process, (also my kids tend to get stuck so I can't deliver in standard position.) That being said if you feel that the pain is just too much get the epidural, that is what it is for. Enjoy the process (as much as you can) rather than suffer through it. We are so excited for you guys! Do remember that in just a few short months your little one will be snuggling into your arms and the pain/stress of delivery will be a distant memory. (why do you think we want more kids, we Forget!)
